A few hours you can visit first in the III millennium BC, where to move smoothly into the Roman Empire, then to Byzantium, the Arab caliphate, to experience the atmosphere of the Ottoman Empire and the Crusades. In Syria, you can find many references to the Bible. This is not surprising, because, on land now owned by Syria deployed events of the Old and New Testaments. Also associated with Syria, the most striking events of the first centuries of Islam. For thousands of years in the territory which belongs to Syria, have come and gone, many of civilization and the state.
